Don't act like a man Jack Conway, act like a father.

I don't live in Kentucky but I feel compelled to weigh in on the US Senate candidate Jack Conway (D). I've seen the Kentucky Attorney General's campaign ad against Rand Paul and it appears to be the typical low-blow, gutter-ball, 2-weeks-before-the-election political commercial. It happens, right? The problem I have with ads like Conway's commercial bashing Dr. Paul is that they scream personal interest. I believe that if you are running for a prestigious office you should act the part, rather than resort to tactics that resemble slanderous remarks on a middle school bathroom stall. It demonstrates that Jack Conway is willing to resort to low blows for his personal gain. Don't give me the line about it being in the best interest of the Democratic party for Jack Conway to win at all costs because some kind of greater good is being served by fighting the Evil Empire from taking over the US Senate. You don't act like a jerk because you think you are better than the other "jerk." Rand Paul told Jack Conway to be a man as if he were Vito Corleone speaking to Johnny Fontane in the Godfather. "Oh Godfather, I don't know what to do... I don't know what to do..." "YOU CAN ACT LIKE A MAN!" (Slap).

I don't think men should be told to act like men; they should be told to act like fathers. Some say that real men are the football players that yell and grunt and bang their heads against lockers. Others claim that "real" men don't cry. Usually someone yells "be a man" if they are trying to bait someone into a fight. What if Rand Paul would have said, "Act like a father"?

Many people have contacted me through this blog and www.DanHelpsKids.com. I can't give legal advice because I'm not a lawyer and I don't know enough about the law. I share my experiences to help others. The best advice that I can give people is to go through life conducting yourself in the same manner that you would if your young child was sitting on your lap. If I were Jack Conway, I would be embarrassed if my child saw the ad attacking Rand Paul. If I was Rand Paul's campaign manager, I would keep Dr. Paul away from Conway and applaud Dr. Paul for not shaking the Attorney General's hand because he took shots at Dr. Paul's Christian faith. From a political standpoint; it's a good strategy. If I was Rand Paul's father, I would have told him that he should have shaken Jack Conway's hand and that he should show up for the next debate. Can anyone tell me how Rand Paul's actions resemble that of a "man"? "He insulted my religion so I am going home and taking my ball with me." It's definitely not the conduct a father should teach to their sons about being "manly".

The worst thing about Jack Conway is that he sits on TV and tries to rationalize how his attack ad was something other than a low-blow. Jack Conway is a lawyer. As the Kentucky Attorney General, he is the highest ranking lawyer in the state. Jack Conway has participated in hundreds of trials, many of which involving juries. Jack Conway resorted to a legal strategy where he tried to implant into the minds of the "jury" that Rand Paul made fun of their religion. Unfortunately for Conway, the "jury" is the general public in this case and the strategy backfired because the “jury” didn't buy it.

So what is the lesson that we can take away from all of this? Should Jack Conway take Rand Paul's advice and start being a "man"? I don't think so. I fail to see how smashing beer cans on foreheads, painting sports logos on chests, and arm wrestling have anything to do with running the United States of America. Maybe Jack Conway and Rand Paul should concentrate on acting like fathers. It's hard to go wrong with someone who conducts themselves in an honest, compassionate, tolerant, and forgiving manner. Dear Jack and Rand, "Dad up" and show us what you are really made of.

How Dr. Edward J Connor conducts himself in an unethical and illegal manner and the people who enable him to do so.

This is a collection of some statements and/or opinions that Dr. Edward J Connor has given in several different legal proceedings. Dr. Connor claimed that he could not understand me in a child custody evaluation because I had ADHD, yet Dr. Connor doesn’t have a problem evaluating child porn addicts, violent offenders, rapists, and murders. Dr. Edward J Connor is not only a danger to children; Dr. Connor presents a real danger to the integrity of criminal and civil trials to which Dr. Connor is involved.

“The doctor testified that when Conley killed his 10-year-old brother, Conner, in November he was likely in a dissociative state – a condition in which the mind seems different than the body.” -WLWT report of Dr. Edward Connor’s testimony at the 9/20/2010 Sentencing Hearing for convicted murder Andrew Conley

“[Dr. Edward Connor] attributed Mullikin’s addiction to child pornography to being sexually confused after becoming aroused while being spanked by a nun in fifth grade.” -Cincinnati Enquirer report of Dr. Connor’s testimony at the sentencing hearing in Kenneth Mullikin’s child pornography case.

In the 2007 rape trial of Jeni Lee Dinkel, Dr. Connor recommended that Ms. Dinkel not do jail time for having sex with her son’s 15 year old friend. Dr. Connor stated that Ms. Dinkel took full responsibility for her actions and was a very low risk to reoffend in any manner. Ms. Dinkel pled guilty to having sex with a 15 year old boy after providing alcohol to teenagers. Dr. Connor felt that if Ms. Dinkel went to jail, it would be hard on her son. In 2008, Ms. Dinkel was arrested for a probation violation and her case worker claimed that Ms. Dinkel placed blame on the 15 year old victim.

In the Death Row trial of Marco Chapman, Dr. Connor stated, “Marco Chapman was depressed as a baby due to the emotional detachment of his parents. Chapman’s parents suffered from depression, serious alcohol abuse, and mental disorders. Chapman’s father sexually abused him and routinely beat him unconscious. His parents gave Chapman alcohol in his baby bottle. A babysitter molested Chapman. Chapman began to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol at the age of eight and became sexually active and suicidal as a child. Chapman experienced dissociative states. He was plagued by conduct disorders and dysthymia and Chapman’s emotional disturbances had physical manifestations. Around the age of 14, Chapman attempted suicide by hanging himself and cutting his wrists. This was around the same time Chapman began to abuse LSD, embalming fluid, and PCP. Chapman suffered from gender identity issues. He abused heroin, cocaine, crack, and methamphetamines and drank alcohol in binges. Chapman was in acute psychological turmoil suffering from substance dependence, Dysthymic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, intrusive thoughts, odd sensory experiences, including visual and auditory hallucinations, dramatic mood swings, troubling thoughts and dreams, and personality disorders (he had symptoms of both Borderline and Anti-social Disorder.” Marco Chapman had a marginal IQ yet Dr. Connor understood Mr. Chapman well enough to come to the above conclusion.

In the May 21, 2010 appellate ruling of Seth Smith v. Commonwealth of Kentucky, Mr. Smith argued that the trial court erred in excluding proposed testimony from psychologist Dr. Edward Connor. The ruling states, “Appellant states that Dr. Connor would have testified that Appellant “acted in a manner which he felt was necessary to defend himself’.” The appellate court agreed with the trial court’s opinion that “Dr. Connor could not have testified to such because ‘he would be testifying as to what was actually in the Defendant’s mind at the time he committed the offense’.”

After I began publicly questioning the conduct of Dr. Connor and Dr. Connor’s involvement in previous trials, Dr. Connor attacked me and claimed that I may present an emotional danger to my children. When Judge Humphrey asked Dr. Connor how my behavior reflected my ability to parent and the safety of my children, Dr. Connor stated, “My concern is that if he -- it might not be necessary, the physical safety, but the psychological well-being of the children if he were to attempt to coach them in any way against the mother. If he doesn’t get what he wants in this way, my concern is that he’ll start to work on the children, try to coach them or influence them in some way to get what he wants. I would be more concerned about that.” When Judge Humphrey asked Dr. Connor to describe what Dr. Connor observed that led him to that conclusion, Dr. Connor replied, “His manipulativeness, his tendency to not see things objectively for another’s perspective. Pretty much, if he doesn’t get what he wants, then he’ll go to many different extents or means to try to get his way, such as I said, all of the information that he puts up on the internet. He’s threatened -- I feel like he’s threatened the courts, I feel like he’s made threats to me. He’s made very negative comments about myself publicly. There’s a lot of manipulation on his behalf that I think would pre-dispose him, then, to trying to manipulate the children, as well, if he does not get what he wants.”

Psychologist Dr. Edward Connor is a hired gun that will say anything for a buck and will go to extremes to crush those who question his conduct. Judge Humphrey wrote in the final decree in my divorce, “According to Dr. Connor’s testimony, Husband’s writings are similar to those of individuals who have committed horrendous crimes against their families.” That was the best that Dr. Connor could make up. He didn’t have any evidence that I was anything but a good father so he had to make something up. Albert Einstein once said, “Anyone who doesn't take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either.” It makes you wonder why judges like Judge James Humphrey keep appointing Dr. Edward J Connor. Maybe the time has come to sue everybody who enables Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Edward J. Connor's abuse of children

Today someone from the Kentucky Government was on this blog and http://www.danhelpskids.com/. Yesterday, someone from the Kenton County School School Sytem was on my website. The day before that, someone from the Pendleton County School System was on my website. Kentucky Attorney General, and U.S. Senate Candidate, Jack Conway knows about Dr. Connor. Kentucky Assistant Attorney General Mark Brengelman is aware that Dr. Connor doesn't release health records to clients but he advised the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology not to take action against Dr. Connor. The Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology is aware that Dr. Edward J Connor committed mail and wire fraud as well. The Children's Home of Northern Kentucky has Dr. Connor oversee their psychological services. They are well aware of Dr. Connor's history of not telling the truth. Dearborn Circuit Court Judge James D. Humphrey listened to Dr. Connor gasp for breath during while I cross-examined Dr. Connor about Dr. Connor's conflicting and false written statements. Judge Humphrey took away my children because of my "irrational behavior and attacks on Dr. Connor." Judge Humphrey wasn't worried about protecting my children or their mother, Judge Humphrey was worried about his expert, Dr. Ed Connor. He denied my request for a GAL to represent my children because Judge Humphrey knew another professional would be appaulled by the conduct of Judge Humphrey's "expert". Dearborn County Prosecutor Aaron Negangard knows that Dr. Connor lied under oath. He knows because he had Detective Mike Kreinhop investigate me because an unidentified person made a complaint about my internet writings. Detective Kreinhop, who is the Republican candidate for Dearborn County Sheriff, interviewed Dr. Connor during the course of his investigation and reviewed Dr. Connor's fraudulent documents. Are any of these entities doing anything to protect children and families from Dr. Edward J. Connor? Not that I am aware of.

Here is what people need to do. If children are harmed by Dr. Edward J. Connor, adults need to focus on the entities that have knowingly allowed Dr. Connor to continue to harm children. If a child is harmed by Dr. Connor during the course of a school related psychology matter; the parents should file a lawsuit against the school. If a child happens to be neglected by the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky, as a result of Dr. Connor's actions; the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky should be held accountable. Dearborn County children that are victims of Dr. Connor's abuse should hold Dearborn County Law Enforcement responsible for turning a blind eye to Dr. Ed Connor's malicious behavior. Democratic Senate Candidate Jack Conway says he protects families, but the Office of the Attorney General only protects families when it is convenient. Jack Conway and the Kentucky Board of Examiners have an interest in protecting Dr. Edward Connor because Dr. Connor testifies in death row trials and often testifies on behalf of the state. Last but not least, we should not forget to hold Dr. Sara Jones-Connor accountable as well. Her name was signed at the bottom of my custody evaluation report that her husband claimed to contain "numerous errors and oversights."

I'm not a person who is out to sue everyone but if everyone is going to turn their backs on the Connor family child neglect ring, maybe it's time that people start suing everyone. I encourage people to start filing lawsuits against anyone connected to Connor and Associates, PLLC, who have looked the other way while enabling Dr. Edward J Connor and his wife, Dr. Sara Jones-Connor, to continue to harm children. Dr. Sara Jones-Connor signed the report so I am sure she was aware of the "numerous errors and oversight" in the evaluation report before the report was filed with the court. If we direct our attention away from the problem, the husband and wife combo of Dr. Edward J Connor and Dr. Sara Jones-Connor, and focus on the entities that have an obligation to report such abuse, people will stop looking the other way. If people start suing attorneys, public officials, psychologist, mental health organizations, school systems, etc... who have a duty to report the illegal actions of the husband and wife team of Ed and Sara Connor, people won't be so quick to look the other way when the Connor family is neglecting children and their families. So stand up, speak out, and sue 'em because we will never be able to stop the Connor family from hurting children unless we can deter people from protecting Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Edward J. Connor. For more information on how Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Edward J. Connor harm children, go to http://www.danhelpskids.com/. If anyone needs my assistance in any legal case involving Dr. Edward J Connor, I would be more than happy to forward evidence of Dr. Connor's fraudulent behavior and I will be happy to testify in any legal proceeding as well. I want to help protect children from being harmed by Dr. Connor by holding people accountable for protecting and enabling Dr. Connor's abusive practices.
