Results of Dan's Trial were not in his favor.

I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of Dan and our family. I could not begin to say how much it means to have so much support. Dan was convicted on 5 counts, 2 misdemeanors and 3 felonies. We are obviously moving forward but I don't have any information on that right now. Dan is doing fine. Again, thanks to everyone, I will write more later. Sue Brew

  2. Sorry to hear that. Shame people are like that. Very unfair and wrong. I hope you appeal the case and go all the way up to the supreme court if you have to. This needs to be addressed on a federal level and made more in the public eye. I wouldn't want to be a resident in IN or that county right now. What a shame. All this over a marriage gone bad. Wow.

  3. Dan,
I amso sorry for your daughters, for your mother, brother and certainly for you. That having been said, I pity the rest of us here in Dearborn County Indiana for we are the real losers in this case. We have not only vered further down a dark road away from the Ideals upon which we as Americans base our societal pride on, but we have no decended another rung into the abyss of tyranny not challenging the very destructive impact and with full acceptance. Dan, we are sheep being hearded for slaughter with the false faith that our sheppard will protect us. I am stunned that you received a 14 exclimation point Guilty headline.

I think it was Thomas H Clark Esq. who wrote, "If you ignore the details, there is no difference between a horse and a camel."

In your case I would have to believe that a 14 point pucker factor was being experienced by the players perpetrating your sluaghter. Had the truth been revieled, it would have showed how the government and its extensions likely did and can avoid the sacred tenents of the United States Constitution, specifically, the Fourteenth Amendment, section 1: "...nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty or property, withut due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Paraphrased from Thomas H. Clark.

Dan, I read something recently which brought you to mind and the many others who are falling victim to an ever expanding willful deviance from our American ideals.

"Your predicament is a part of you, like getting married, cancer, ADD or your being a great Dad. You can put that stuff deep into your pockets and take it with you tto your grave or you canhelp somebody. Don't hog your journey; it's not just for you." Taken and adapted from Hoda Kotb of NBC's Today Show.

You Dan Brewington, have so graciously shared your journey with us all. You have helped more mother, father and children than you will ever know. You are a great human being who make me proud to share my time on earth with. Your generosity is not to be forgotten and your journey is far from over. This current sorite of your journey will soon end. And, those other who are able to think for themselves and still subscribe to truth, integrity, and our United States Constitution, will not let this go. We will help in whatever legal means possible and bring this very distrubing reflection of tyrannical abuse of our democracy to the spotlight whereever and whenever possible. We do this not only for you but for ourselvesas but for the grace of GOD there go I.

"People are easily fooled. They think education and charm have something to do with character. Vague terms are the tools of evasion; avoidance of detail and fact finding are the hallmarks of corruption.

If the promise of the Constitution is denied to one person, it is a warning to every person."
    Thomas H. Clark
